Granite Coast near Thunder Hole

all i can say is WOW WOW WOW .... THIS IS SO AWSOME i LOVE THIS feeling I get when i LOOK at this ..I feel strong and week at the same time .The Rocks are so MANLY STRONG, AND THE WATER IS SO SOFT. ( :

It's never guaranteed what you get when you set up for longer exposure and I had to try many times to convey my envision. When I reviewed the images I knew I captured what I was originally hoping for. Thanks for commenting Mairin ... glad you like it!

This is a wonderful photograph, Juergen. I love the hard texture of the rocks against the almost, ephemeral image of the water which could used as a symbol for spirit and matter! I also love the contrasting colours of the rocks, quite beautiful. Bright Blessings

I tried to photograph thunder hole in Acadia NP. Unfortunately there was not much thunder going on so I explored the rocky Maine granite coast further until I came across my own thunder hole. The ocean waves were going in and out of this miniature fjord and I exposed long enough to generate the silky water lines ... too bad I didn't have a noise recording since the water was quite roaring when it hit the back of the hole.
